What has your career been like to date?
Before joining Street, I worked as a Group IT Manger for a manufacturing business. During my 20+ years at that business, I was involved in managing substantial change in the manufacturing environment from the ever changing diversity of customer requirements to moving the entire manufacturing base overseas. My role was to establish and implement new Information Technology strategies / methods which supported the business during these challenges.
What are your main responsibilities?
My primary focus is to ensure that IT technical solutions are fit for purpose, to constantly evaluate if the business is getting the best from the systems deployed and to ensure that the underlying support strategies are effective. In addition to this, the role is to continually improve our IT business systems to ensure that the processes are in-line with business requirement and are both effective and efficient.
