Everyone who sells Street Crane hoists knows that as standard they are designed differently to those of other main market manufacturers. These fundamental design differences give the Street product unique technical features which offer tangible benefits to the end user. As standard the ZX is also engineered for greater uptime, lower life time cost of ownership and for speedy planned maintenance when required. But sometimes customers demand something more and there are many ways that Street hoists can be customised to make them even more fit for purpose.
Below is a brief summary of some of the key options available, please don’t forget about them!
- Mechanical overspeed switch that operates the hoist brake automatically when an overspeed of 10% over standard maximum is measured. This option is an extremely simple and economical solution that adds an extra level of safety to the hoist and peace of mind to the client, none of our competitors can offer this without complex electronics!
- Galvanising specification with upgraded 2 pack epoxy coating for all steelwork, special cabling, corrosion resistant cable glands, upgraded rope guide and hoist motor for the demanding ambient conditions found in steel treatment plants.
- IP55 motor and electrical panel upgrades for outdoor applications, with brake sealing kits and weather covers!
- Rotary or trip wire style ultimate upper limit switches to provide redundant hook and hoist safety in the event of a failure of the standard limit switch system.
- Load weighing for single or tandem hoist operation using a simple strain gauge load pin in place of the standard torque arm assembly.
- Two stage overload limits for instances where the client has a structural load restriction in one part of his facility.
