Street Apprenticeships
Engineering apprenticeships are vital to our business
Apprentices are a vital part of our business, ensuring we have the skills to continue to develop world-leading products. From warehouse and production operatives through to welders and electricians, we offer apprenticeships for a wide range of roles.
The Street Crane Apprenticeship Programme
We recruit young people and work closely in partnership with local colleges to train them for up to a five year period. Some of our best engineers and managers have come through these types of programmes.
There will typically be a job training programme, followed by day release. You will have an opportunity to put into practice what you have learnt when you return to the workplace and continue to be supported by onsite assessment to enable you to achieve a qualification.
Street Crane will continue to support your development through HND and up to and including BEng Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, subject to consideration of ability, aptitude and success at both College and within the organisation.
Paid day release for attendance at a local College will be granted for the duration of the Programme, subject to satisfactory results and attendance. The normal period of training is between three and four years depending on age at entry and date of starting role.
