As part of its ongoing commitment to improving its products and services, Street Crane has boosted its team with the appointment of David Williams as Quality Manager.
Joining from SIHI Group and with 25 years’ experience of the manufacturing industry, David will be responsible for ensuring Street’s products, services and processes continuously improve and perform to the required standards, including IS0:9001.
Based at Street’s head office in Chapel-en-le-Frith, he will lead a team of two quality experts, working closely with the technical, production and commercial departments to ensure that Street maintains high performance standards across all of its operations.
Chris Lindley-Smith, sales director at Street said: “This is a key role in our organisation which helps to position us as one of the industry’s top manufacturers.
“David has specialised in quality management for a large part of his career, so will be a great asset to our team. With new requirements due to be enforced within the next three years, his expertise, particularly in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, will ensure that we can continue to deliver world-class products and services.”
