Kickstart Your Career with Street Crane Apprenticeships
Are you ready to jumpstart your career in engineering and manufacturing? At Street Crane, located in the beautiful town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, we offer exciting apprenticeship opportunities that provide hands-on experience, professional development, and a pathway to a rewarding career.
“The skills you gain will provide you with the tools to build a successful future.”
Choosing an apprenticeship was an easy decision for me because I prefer learning hands-on rather than through traditional classroom settings. It allowed me to gain practical experience right from the start, which was far more enjoyable and effective for me.
I selected Street Crane specifically because of its excellent reputation and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals. The team here has been incredibly supportive, providing me with invaluable knowledge and skills throughout my apprenticeship.
As I neared the end of my program, I was entrusted with more responsibility, which boosted my confidence and motivated me to push through and successfully complete my qualification.
Now that I’ve completed my apprenticeship, my goal is to continue growing within the company. I’m excited to advance in my career and develop my skills even further to become the best version of myself, both for the company and for my personal growth.
For anyone considering an apprenticeship, I would strongly recommend it if you’re eager to learn by doing and want to develop a high-value skill that will set you up for long-term success.
It’s important to keep in mind that the starting salary during an apprenticeship may seem lower compared to what your friends are earning, but the trade-off is significant. By the time you finish your apprenticeship, you’ll have acquired a skill that will last a lifetime, leading to greater earning
otential and a solid foundation for your career.
While the pay might feel like a disadvantage in the beginning, remember that the long-term benefits outweigh this. The skills you gain will provide you with the tools to build a successful future and open doors to higher-paying roles as a skilled professional.
“Every day brings a new challenge, and the work is always interesting and different.”
I chose an apprenticeship because it has allowed me to earn money while gaining a qualification in a field I’m passionate about. It was the perfect way to learn and build a future at the same time.
Before starting, I already knew several people who worked at Street Crane, and they all had positive things to say about the company, which gave me confidence in my decision.
One of the things I enjoy most about the apprenticeship is the variety. Every day brings a new challenge, and the work is always interesting and different. It’s a dynamic environment, and I love being involved in something that keeps me on my toes.
In terms of disadvantages, the only challenge I face is balancing my college work with the hands-on tasks I do at Street Crane. It can be tricky to manage both, but it’s all part of the learning process.
Looking ahead, I’m focused on doing well in my AM2 exam, which is my final college qualification. After that, I’m eager to explore further training or qualifications to continue advancing in my career.
If you’re thinking about an apprenticeship, my advice would be to make sure you’re genuinely passionate about what you choose. It’s important to enjoy the field you’re entering. Also, be prepared to dedicate some of your free time to studying and revising – it’s all worth it in the end.
